In-Home Services

for Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine

Beginning  July  2024, we will only be seeing patients
by appointment at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center in Sequim

+ continuing at Dandelion Botanical for Thursday Community Acupuncture Clinic

In-Home Services are
beneficial for people experiencing
the following situations:

What to Expect?

  • Pain, injuries, chronic conditions

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Post-surgery

  • Pregnancy + postpartum

  • Difficulty with transportation

  • Families with multiple patients needing services

  • If you feel more comfortable in your home environment

  • Busy individuals who operate largely at home

  • People open to the experience

  • We will come to your home and bring all the necessary supplies and equipment.

  • You will complete the forms prior to the appointment.

  • You will provide medical papers, prepared (i.e. findings / interpretations of imaging, medication list, labs, etc...)

  • Our intake process, paperwork and visits are similar to what you would experience at an in-clinic environment.

  • The practitioner will generally arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment, in order to have a timely start.

How Do I Prepare Myself?

  • Have a general level of cleanliness.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows us to work on your arms and legs.

  • There may be some level of disrobing.  We will provide sheets.

  • Do not drink a large amount of caffeinated beverages.

  • Eat 1 to 3 hours before the appointment, so you feel grounded.

  • Inform others in the house, so they may give space and the quietness you require.

  • Have a plan for pets that may jump or wish to lay on you.

  • Payment processing occurs first.  Then, we move forward with the evaluation and/or treatment session.

How Do I Prepare My Home?

  • We will utilize your chairs or couches.

  • The use of a massage table or zero gravity chair is minimal or rare for in-home services.  Its use is subject to the acupuncture and East Asian medicine practitioner's assessment of the home's space, and ability to timely set up + breakdown equipment.

  • A general level of cleanliness and decluttered space is appreciated ; however, it does not have to be a spotless home!

  • Please provide fresh air space; meaning, we prefer to have limited excess scents present.  Normal cooking and home scents are ok.

For cancellations less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a

forfeiture fee of $25 ; if you are not at home for your appointment

you will be charged a no-show fee of $50.
